  1. The name of the society shall be "The Betnoti College Natya Sansad".
  2. The aims and objectives of the society are :
    1. To encourage the cultivation of dramatic art among the members by arranging dramatic performances..
    2. To promote cultural activities like dance & music.
    3. To administer the fund that may be available for the achievement of the aims and ideals of the society.
  3. All students of the College are the members of the society.
  4. The Committee of management shall consist of :
    1. Principal, ex-officio President.
    2. Vice-President to be nominated by the Principal from among the staff
    3. Secretary and Assistant Secretary.
    4. One representative from each class.
  5. The committee of management shall decide and fix the date and nature of performance to be staged and shall submit a statement of account in the annual general meeting.
  6. The Secretary shall convene meeting and keep record of proceeding of these meetings and he is also responsible for keeping up to date accounts.
  7. The Principal may alter, amend or abrogate any of the rules at his discretion.

Junior Red Cross Society is organised for the purpose of inculcating in the youth of the country, the ideals of peace and the practice of service especially in relation to the case of their own health and that of others. It was formed in this College. The youth should understand and accept civic and human responsibility and should cultivate a spirit of friendful helpfulness towards the children and youth of the countries.

The aims of Junior Red Cross are :
1. The promotion of health.
2. Service to the sick and the suffering and
3. International friendliness.
Membership of Junior Red Cross is opened to boys and girls of all classes who desire to participate in its various activities.


The following Societies provide scope for intellectual improvement of students:
1. Arts Society.
2. Science Society
3. Commerce Society.


1. Objects :

  1. To arrange debates, seminars, reading papers as well as to invite eminent persons to address the members.
  2. To undertake such other literary and extra curricular activities as are decided upon by the Executive committee and approved by the Principal.

2. Management: The Management of the affairs of the societies shall be vested in the Executive Committee consisting of :

  1. The President - Principal (Ex-officio)
  2. The Vice-President nominated by Principal.
  3. Secretary to be elected from among the members.
  4. An Assistant Secretary to be elected from among the members.
  5. Class representative one from each of the class nominated by the students of the class.

3. Functions of the Society Secretary are :

  1. To convene meetings.
  2. To record the minutes of the meeting.
  3. To organise function and activities as decided upon by the Executive Committee and approved by the Principal.
  4. To maintain accounts and to submit through the Vice-President a statement of expenditure together with vouchers for all money received from the College.
  5. To requisition through the Vice-President for withdrawal of funds of the society.
  6. To perform such other functions as are assigned to him by the Vice-President.

4. The Assistant Secretary shall assist the Secretary and act as Secretary in the absence of the later.

5. Pay post of the office - bearer can be filled up by the Principal through nomination in case vacancy arises.

6. In all matters the decision of the Principal shall be binding and final.


  1. Betnoti College Athletic Association shall consist of the members of the staff and student with the Principal as the ex-officio President.
  2. The executive Council of the Betnoti College athletic Association shall consist of the following office bearers.
    1. Principal ex-officio President.
    2. Members of teaching staff nominated by Principal and one of them as Vice-President.
    3. One class representative from each class.
    4. Secretary to be elected from each class.
    5. Captain of the Football, Volley ball, Hockey, Cricket and such other, Organising out door games.
  3. The Principal or his nominee will select the captain and vice captain for all out door games.
    1. The tenure of office shall be for one academic session only.
    2. The vice-president shall carry on the work in the session till the principal nominates new vice-president.
    3. The Captain shall continue to be the Captain till next election.
  4. Work of the Council :
    1. To consider the Budget proposed by sub committee.
    2. General Management of the Association.
  5. Work of the vice-president :
    1. He will be in the charge of the accounts including the ordering goods.
    2. He will be in the general superintendence of games.
  6. Works of Captain :
    1. election of players for friendly and competitive matches.
    2. In charge of grounds set as a part of games.
    3. He shall be responsible for organization of college games
  7. The P.E.T. will remain in charge of stores, official records and training. He is to make necessary arrangement for the smooth conduct of sports and games activities.
  8. Yoga as a compulsory subject in curriculum as introduced in +2 level shall be taught by the physical instructor. Students +3 streams. should also avail the scope of learning /attending the classes.
